Cute pictures! “Where’s Kathy” doesn’t have that far to go!!! It has been fun following you on this pilgrimage! Ron wants to know if you are going to get a seashell tattoo for completing the pilgrimage?
Glad to see your sense of humor has remained strong throughout the trip. Can’t wait for your return to get a first hand account of the expierence! Thanks for taking us along on your pilgrimage.
This was such a special post. I thought of ALL of the Pilgrims you have encountered and ALL of the terrain and the “stay overs” you have experienced. I am just so proud of you and impressed with the memories you have made and shared. It reminds me of the Bible verse to “fight the good fight” of the faith. 1 Timothy 6:12 reminds us to Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.” Finally Ps. 121 reflects on a Pilgrimage as “I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord-the maker of Heaven and Earth. He will not let your foot slip. He who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you. The Lord is your shade at your right hand; The sun will not harm you by day nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm- He will watch over your life; The Lord will watch your coming and going both now and forevermore.” I love you so much. Sally
Very very very clever, Kathy !!! They come in all sizes and colors and shapes and adornments, huh? Looks like the trail is getting more crowded. I don’t think most of them have done what you have done. I really am going to miss going to bed at night reading your blogs!!! Sending love, Joan
Thanks Joan. When I left Sarria there were lots of people but after a couple days the trail quieted down and I only saw a handful of people walking, I was pleasantly surprised by that.
