Nothing is troublesome that we do willingly…

Nothing is troublesome that we do willingly – Thomas Jefferson

I opened  my ceiling window this morning to the cathedral across the street and the storks singing to me. I left Fromista about 8:00 am and stopped in Poblacion de Campos for breakfast about 9:00. From there I took the Pilgrims’ highway to my destination of Carrion de los Condes through Revenga de Campos, Vilamentero de Campos, and Vilalcazor de Singa.  In Vilalcazor, I stopped at the Iglesia de Santa Maria la Blanca where the White Virgin is said to have performed miracles for pilgrims of the past. I prayed for my own special miracle. Today I met a nice young man, Meero, from Croatia on the road who is walking from SJPP to Santiago. We had a nice conversation. Upon checking into my hostel, I ran into Nick, Australian raising money for brain cancer, Tony from England and Linda form NYC- all have rooms right by me! How does that happen!!!!???
